Genome size of Crassostrea gigas is about 824M base pairs

Sequencing method: Illumina solexa & Fosmid

Sequencing progress (2009.5.6): 93¡Á coverage finished | fosmid sequecing = 0.175¡Á coverage finished | contigs (without N) N50 = 3k bp | scaffold = 10k bp | predicted gene number = 25 thousands
